How We Chose Our Production Partner
OLV Boutique (https://www.olv.vn/) is well-known in Vietnam for their impressive growth, from a small fashion boutique with one store in Saigon to 21 stores all over Vietnam within 3 years. They do so while offering progressive culture and maintaining the best environment for the employees. Additional bonus? They’re led by three young, ambitious and smart female co-founders.
The Environment
125 females work in this small tailoring business —that’s a smaller number for factories in this region, and the work environment reflects that clearly. We were impressed by the bright, clean, well-ventilated and air-conditioned atmosphere of the production area, and the outside grounds (which are just as well kept as the inside). This production site is the only one equipped with air-purifier which we think crucial considering the dust generated by fabrics and generally low air quality in Ho Chi Minh City. The factory has a low employee turnover rate of 6%, and the average employee stays with the company for 3 years since it was founded. Employees also enjoy flexible working working hours which is not a norm in the textile industry in Vietnam and bi-yearly team building travelling trips.

About the Founders
Asking one of the three founders who is now in charge of production how the future would look like for them, her eyes would be lighten up talking about ideas to automate the work allocation process, increase productivity while at the same time, keeping the price reasonable for customers.
